Back in 2001, I bought a similar pair of Diesels in Rome. They were timeless and extraordinary. However they tragically were destroyed by my carelessness and I have been searching for their identical twin ever since. I tried bootlegs and knock offs but the quality was obviously not there. I then upgraded to the flawed replica of Oakley Riddle but the hinge is an Achilles Heel and snaps like a wishbone. Now I come back to the American classics with this model and love the light weight metal(Oakleys were heavy plastic) and quality of lense and design of Ray Bans. An instant classic for wide styled sunglasses in my opinion.
