Mandated since June 2001, CISP is intended to protect Visa cardholder data – wherever it resides – by ensuring that members, merchants and service providers maintain the highest information security standard.

We also are compliant with the Department of Homeland Security’s National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) standards, and we pass the FBI’s Twenty Most Critical Internet Security Vulnerabilities test. We voluntarily submit to third-party auditing of all these security procedures.
