Price matching
We work hard to monitor the Internet and traditional retail stores to ensure our customers receive the lowest possible prices. However sometimes we miss a competitor's lower price. If you find a competitor with a lower delivered price, please let us know, and we will do our best to meet or beat it. Price match must be done at the time of purchase.
Some points of clarification are in order, though:
There are retailers who sell "gray-market" product. This means that the product is obtained outside a brand's authorized channels. With “gray-market” items, warranties may not be valid, and you may not receive all the accessories intended by the manufacturer. You may, for example, have to pay extra for a case, lens caps, or straps that normally would be included at no extra charge.
WE, HOWEVER, ARE AUTHORIZED DEALERS FOR EVERY PRODUCT WE SELL, so all our products come with full warranty as well as all the accessories intended by the manufacturer. We do not break apart sets or kits in order to give the illusion of lower price, only to make up the difference by charging for normally included accessories.
That means when we match a price, we’ll typically do so only on a complete package of identical, new merchandise that the competitor has in stock. Sometimes, though – and completely at our option – we may also choose to match a price even if a competitor does not have the product on hand. So it’s a good idea to call or email in any event. There’s certainly no harm in asking.
We pride our selves in offering our customers top-notch, first class service. That’s a given. But some of our competitors are bargain-basement dealers who often cannot be reached by phone before or after a sale and who provide no technical support or product information whatsoever. Many of these dealers also charge restocking and other extraneous fees for returned goods.
We don’t do that. But we are very familiar with the companies that do, and we will only honor price-match requests for products from these companies at our discretion. The list of these vendors changes as we monitor our customers’ experience and Better Business Bureau reports. But again, feel free to call or email us in advance of an order if you suspect you may be dealing with such a vendor.
